An Expert Observation of New Labour Law Bill Was Given by One of the Law Firm’s Partners for News “Vikna-Novyny”
The Labour Law Bill is discoursed vividly in the Ukrainian society. Andrii Nechyporenko focused his attention in the interview for journalists of the TV channel CTV on several innovations which can cause a reaction of employers and employees. Here are several of them:
- a refusal to give an employment to the citizen must be given in written form;
- the employer has to pay a fine for the employees in case of the salary delay and the amount of the fine depends on the quantity of the days during which the employer has failed to pay on time. If the delay takes up to 30 days – 10 % fee has to be paid, up to 90 days and it comes into 50 %, if the delay is 90 or more then 90 days – 100 % fee must be paid by the employer to the employees;
- if the person at work can’t take the reality like it is and such a circumstance appeared under the influence of the alcohol the employer must deliver he or she to proper medical institution or to person’s residence.
Andrii Nechyporenko mentioned that in spite of some questions at issue of this Labour Law bill both employers and employees can find a lot of advantages in it.
